The Solar Lighting with Built in battery includes a wall charger that provides overnight recharging of the 4V, 3.2Ah internal battery when recharging via the sun is not feasible.

It is also well-suited for emergency preparedness kits, especially if there is an extended period without electrical power. The Solar Lighting with Built in battery features excellent charge retention: it loses only 1% of its charge per month when on shelf. There is no memory effect, so it can be recharged when convenient. At 25% depth of discharge, it can deliver up to 1,000 recharge cycles.
